Save or write this down, as you will need it for your second device. Check that you are host. If you are not, then make sure to log into the Zoom app on your computer. Example URL. Practicing with Zoom by myself using two devices. You can practice on your own by: Opening a Zoom session on your main computer as host and Entering your Zoom session on another device such as another computer, tablet etc as a student. Two device setup.
There is a unique Join URL. Save or write this down, as you will need it for your second device. Check that you are host. If you are not, then make sure to log into the Zoom app on your computer.
To prevent an echo effect, Teams will automatically turn off the camera and mic on the second device before it enters the meeting. Once it's joined, you'll be able to turn the mic and camera on or off as needed. Join a meeting in Teams. Meetings in Teams. Important: Make sure you've updated to the latest version of Teams on your phone before joining it as a companion device.
If you're attending an in-person meeting that has a Microsoft Teams Room or Surface Hub set as the location, you can join with your iPhone once you're there. You can join when the meeting starts, or any time during the meeting. Note: You must be in the same org as the Teams Room or Surface Hub meeting to use your iPhone as a room companion device. Note: This feature is only available on iPhone currently. For Surface Hub, the room remote option on your iPhone may not work.
